This month at the Fantasia Film Festival many highly anticipated horror films will be debuting and one of which will be the South Korean horror anthology Doomsday Book. The anthology will feature three different stories that present a completely different look at many apocalypitic scenarios. Here are some new pictures from Kim Ji-woon’s segment.

Four New Stills From Rob Zombie’s ‘The Lords of Salem’

Rob Zombie knows how to please his fans. For months now he’s been regularly sharing new photos of his highly anticipated upcoming horror film The Lords of Salem. One of them is a fantastic picture of the stars of the film Pat Quinn, Dee Wallace and Judy Geeson. Also in the pictures are Meg Foster, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Salem Radio jock Herman “Whitey” Salvador”, and of course Sheri Moon Zombie as Heidi LaRoc. Check them out.

Amazing Animated Scene From ‘Prometheus’

Incase you have yet to see Ridley Scott’s Prometheus you might want to skip over this next part. But for those of you who have seen the film you’ll definitely want to check out this awesome animated video from James Lee. In it he does his own hilarious interpretation of what is in my opinion the best scene in the entire film and hands down one of the best moments in a horror film in quite some time.

Another Look At Guillermo del Toro’s Epic Sci-fi Monster Flick

Theres a new picture of Del Toro’s Pacific Rim floating around and it features Charlie Hunnam and Rinko Kikuchi suited up for what can only be an epic battle with monsters. Recently Del Toro stated that the fight scenes throughout the film will take place everywhere, “We take the battles far and above! Two or three of them happen in places where there have never been a battle between kaiju and robots. From the bottom of the ocean to the atmosphere of the Earth. We have a battle in a storm at sea. Every battle we try to do differently. One is seen from the point of view of a single person. We never cut away from that point of view.

First One-Sheet For Sam Raimi’s ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’

Some would argue that this isn’t horror related but let’s just be honest. The Wizard of Oz is freaky as shit to little kids. One of horror’s greatest directors, Sam Raimi, will be directing the latest tale of Oz and the first poster is gorgeous.

The film will follow a small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco), who pulls one flim-flam too many and finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz, where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard – and just maybe into a better man as well.

Also starring are Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff. You can expect to see Oz: The Great and Powerful in theatres on March 8, 2013.

Justin Long In Talks For Stephen King’s ‘The 10 O’Clock People’

It was recently announced that Tom Holland, the director of Child’s Play and Fright Night will visiting a Stephen King short story The 10 O’Clock People. Now, it appears that Justin Long might be interested in starring in the film. The story follows Brandon Pearson, who in trying to kick his smoking habit uncovers a frightening aspect of reality he plans to extinguish through extreme measures.

Peanuts As Horror Villians

Ever wonder what the Peanuts would look like if they were some of the most iconic horror villains? Ya me either… But had you ever thought of something like that then here’s the picture just for you.
