Go Behind-the-Scenes Of ‘Carrie’ With Buckets Of Blood

The Sony Gems remake of Carrie is currently filming in Toronto with Kimberly Peirce helming the project. While none of these are “official” images they still show a great behind-the-scenes look at one of the biggest horror films of 2013.

The cast and crew have been sharing some of these images through different social avenues featuring some great pictures from the set including buckets of blood and what would Carrie be without those?

The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine, is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter, Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.

Starring the wonderful Chloe Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, and Judy Greer the film is set for a March 13, 2013 theatrical release.

  1. I was very skeptical about this film when I first heard that they were making it, but I’m pretty excited now! I think Judy Greer is going to be fantastic as Miss Desjardin. Thanks for sharing these pics.

    1. Glad you’re on board now! You know, I’m one of the few people who I know that’s actually excited about it as well. The cast is fantastic and it looks like they are going to be very faithful to the source material. Thanks for stopping by!
