After months of anticipation Rob Zombies The Lords of Salem finally has a trailer and it’s one of the most visually stunning and bizarre trailers of the year. With Anchor Bay handling all of the distribution rights they have released a trailer that is unbelievable strange. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect of Rob Zombie’s latest effort but now that I’ve seen a trailer it’s reminiscent of Dario Argento and Stanley Kubrick’s older works and it looks completely out of this world. You can tell right away that this is Zombie’s most mature film to date and looks just crazy enough to set itself apart from many other horror films.
“Rock star-turned-horror maven Rob Zombie conjures up a nerve-wracking chiller involving Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie), a radio station DJ, who receives a wooden box containing a vinyl record, “a gift from the Lords.” She assumes it’s from a band trying to promote themselves. Heidi and others listen but unbeknownst to them, the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of Salem’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad or are the Lords of Salem returning for revenge on modern day Salem?”

Thanks, Ryan!
Thanks, Ryan! When’s the release date?
I’m not sure that there’s an official release date yet but sometime in 2013.
Sweeeet!!!
His music friggin’ rocks, yo! I mean, not all of it, but a lot of it.Of curose Zombie’s not gonna be your favorite director, he’s only made two movies. We have no idea if he’s one of the greats yet. We’ll see when his next couple of movies come out.Devil’s Rejects was great, of curose. Who’d think to make a family road trip movie about psycho murderers?
