Steve Scott has brought Ellen Ripley back to life with this amazing piece of art that is nothing short of amazing as he sculpted a life-like replica of the character Sigourney Weaver made famous from the Alien franchise.
From Scott, “This is a hyper real silicone head of actress Sigourney Weaver. Sculpted from photos, every measurement has been meticulously calculated and applied. Made in honour of the Alien series and all involved, this is an effort to celebrate the feeling of nostalgia and evoke the memories of an era gone by.”
Head over to his Facebook page to see the entire process from beginning to end. It’s quite remarkable the talents artists like Scott have. Unfortunately I wasn’t blessed with any sort of artistic skills whatsoever; the best I can do is drool over their work and show them off to you guys! Have a look.
unbelievable…wow
That’s damn amazing.
That is just the coolest thing. Glad you posted it.
Now if he could just do a life-sized one from just after she gets ready for sleep to right before she puts on the space suit in the first film. I’d buy that for a dollar!
lol! He’s taking requests I’m sure!
Yeah, but he might think I was some kinda perv. Ooooo, I wonder if he could do Santanico Pandemonium?
OMFG! That’s awesome! He needs to do the Xenomorph next. 😉
YES he does!
holy shit that’s creepy
My great-great grandmother is an Ellen Ripley clone, and the sculpture looks a lot like her.
