Prick is a beautifully shot short film from director Colin Berry that follows a skilled practitioner in the art of murder who experiences an unexpected bout of empathy which rocks the foundations of his already unstable mind.
With its long festival run coming to an end; Berry has shared the complete film online and it’s absolutely stunning. There is no dialog in the film yet it still captivates you with the amazing performance from Ian Batt. The story packs quite a punch within its 9 minute time frame and is a simple and effectively disturbing short film that doesn’t use over the top effects and gore in order to scare its audience. Prick is definitely one of my favorites of the year.

So that was excellent, but it took me a few replays in my own head to figure out how we got from the beginning to the “end” (or back again!). Very cool short film!
Yea I know exactly what you mean! It’s definitely one you have to let sit for a bit.
