Stay Away From The Soy Sauce in Final ‘John Dies at The End’ Trailer

After its massive festival run, John Dies at The End is officially getting ready for its VOD release through Magnet on December 27, 2012. This marks iconic horror director Don Coscarelli’s return to the director’s chair with the adaptation from David Wong’s cult novel.

As a huge fan of the novel I’m extremely excited to see how they brought Wong’s ridiculous tale to life. Any of you guys who have read it will know what I mean when I say that adapting this book was certainly no easy task. The creatures and characters are so out of this world that will have you laughing one minute and terrified the next — all while taking place in an insane universe where strange things are happening all because of this little drug called Soy Sauce.

In John Dies at the End, it’s all about the Soy Sauce, a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. Users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly, a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John (Rob Mayes) and David (Chase Williamson), a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can’t. Adapted from David Wong’s audacious trans-genre horror novel, John Dies at the End is written and directed by Don Coscarelli (Bubba Ho-Tep) and also stars Clancy Brown and Paul Giamatti.Watch the trailer below:

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.
