Check Out Legendary FX Artist Greg Nicotero’s Horror Collection

Some of you may not recognize the name but there’s no doubt that you’ve seen his awe-inspiring work. Greg Nicotero’s first major job in the special effects department came when the King of Splatter Tom Savini took him under his wing on George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead in 1985. Just a few years later he formed the KNB EFX studio with Robert Kurtzman and Howard Berger which has gone on to display their talents on over 400 film and television projects.

The studio has won countless awards including an Oscar. You can currently appreciate Nicotero’s genius work on AMC’s The Walking Dead where he has created some truly unforgettable zombies. Here is an absolutely insane look at his collection of movie props that he’s gathered throughout his successful career and it’s completely mind blowing. The video is a bit NSFW because it features a lot of blood, guts and some language.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.
