I must say that I’m very surprised to be seeing anything from Word War Z at this point considering the making of this film has been a complete nightmare so far with all of the re-writes and bad fortune that has followed it. Despite everything seemingly going wrong it looks like the Marc Forster directed WWZ has finally gotten its act together as they have released a teaser poster as well as a premier date for the trailer. The trailer will hit this Thursday and I’ll have it up as soon as it becomes available for you guys, so hopefully we’ll get to watch some zombie carnage!
If you’re not the patient type, you can find a teaser for the trailer floating around the web right now but I’m not sure what the point of this latest trend is. Why tease us with footage from a trailer that is releasing in just a few days?
I so badly want this film to be amazing as it certainly has the potential to be great. It’s not very often we get such a large scale zombie flick; especially one starring Brad Pitt. There is much doubt among fans, however, as the film has been plagued with bad luck and re-writes making it difficult to imagine that the final product will come out okay. After a solid look at the trailer hopefully a lot of questions will be answered and we can officially start getting ready for World War Z.

oh, I’m so excited about this:) Part of the movie was filmed in Glasgow where I live, so the city center was one huge movie set 😀 Apparently Glasgow looks like zombiefied Philly 😀
Wow that’s really cool! I would have loved to get a peek at that set, I’m sure it was amazing.
It’s funny how you mention the whole teaser trailer thing as I was just thinking last night that I’m tired of seeing awesome movie trailers, but then checking the release date and realising that I still have to wait another 5 months, by which time I’ve forgotten or can’t be bothered because I’ve heard too much by then.

Brad Pitt will surely make this movie okay, I’ve never seen a bad Brad Pitt movie yet.
I am *crossing fingers* for this. LOVED the book.
From what I understand the film is nothing like the book, in the sense that it’s not told through interviews and certain points of view. We’ll see more on Thursday tho!

I forgot that World War Z the movie was even a thing; I think I read about it a while ago and just forgot because I didn’t hear anything more about it. I’m a fan of the book, so I look forward to seeing this made into a movie.
