The First Official One-Sheet Arrives For ‘Stoker’ As Innocence Ends

Thanks to Empire we now have our hands on the first official one-sheet for Park Chan-wook’s upcoming English-language horror debut, Stoker, which is a vampire tale and the first of a planned trilogy written by Ted Foulke. The newest poster is pretty awesome as it blends the style of the original poster that we saw a last month with the menacing looking Mia Wasikowska.

Starring in Chan-wook’s highly anticipated film is Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Jacki Weaver, Lucas Till, Alden Ehrenreich, Phyllis Somerville and Dermot Mulroney.

After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

You can expect to see innocence end in theaters on March 1 from Fox Searchlight.

  1. I just hope they won’t mess this one up or make the film look totally ridiculous like Burton did his. i.e. ‘Dark Shadows’. Something tells me I would enjoy this one more than any horror film I’ve seen in 2012, including ‘The Cabin in the Woods’. Though I am skeptical about Matthew Goodie,I think Wasikowska and Kidman gonna be amazing!

    1. Based on the trailer the the film is absolutely nothing like Dark Shadows. It’s got more of a dark and mysterious tone to it. I agree though, this definitely has the potential to be absolutely amazing and blow Cabin in the Woods away.
