Here’s a couple of new posters for you guys to chew on to get the bad taste of the disappointing Carrie news out of your mouth. First up is director Don Coscarelli’s wicked cool poster for his latest feature John Dies at the End. I really dig the poster because it captures the entire essence of the film. And just in case you missed it, I posted a fantastic review written by Shawn of Con Artist Entertainment a few days ago that you can read here.
“It’s all about the Soy Sauce, a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. Users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John (Rob Mayes) and David (Chase Williamson), a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No.No, they can’t.”
Next we have a German poster for Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers which will be ending its long festival run this month at Sundance. Who would have thought an embroidered poster could look so cool?
“The story is about a couple on a countryside caravan trip that goes wrong.”
Take a look.
