After Dark Originals Premiers ‘Dark Circles’ Trailer

Dark Circles is the latest After Dark Originals production coming in 2013 and they have just premiered the trailer for the psychological thriller. The trailer has a very classic haunted house vibe and the performances all look to be spot on, but you never really know what you’re going to get from After Dark Originals. While some of their films hit the mark, most of them don’t even come close. The trailer for Dark Circles, however, is very well made and offers some legitimately creepy moments — particularly the knife in the sink scene.

Directed by Paul Stoter,“When new parents Alex and Penny retreat from the city and move into a place outside town, the stress and massive sleep-deprivation caused by their infant has both of them seeing things in the house that may or may not exist. Persistent sightings of a strange woman has each of them wondering if they are suffering from hallucinations, or if their new home holds a dark, supernatural presence. As their fragile grasp on reality spirals into delirium, Alex and Penny find themselves nearly helpless to deal with the horrific truth of what is really going in this house.”

Starring Jonathan Schaech, Pell James, Philippe Brenninkmeyer, Andrea Frankle and Michael Patrick Rogers.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. Even though I find myself disappointed in these more than I like them, I always look forward to watching them because some have really interesting ideas and can be entertaining. This one seems like an interesting blend of Insidious and Sinister.

    1. I’m right there with you man. You never know what you’re going to get from After Dark Originals but every once in a while you find something quite entertaining.

  2. I don’t think this looks to be on the level of Insidious or Sinister. It looks like it’s going to fall flat. But we’ll see. I’m willing to hear what people say and if I hear positive things I’ll check it out.
