I’ve covered Stephen King’s upcoming sequel to his masterpiece The Shining for quite some time now so I’m really excited to be sharing the cover art for the special edition printings of Doctor Sleep with you guys. The sequel will follow a now 40 year old Danny Torrance and a tribe of psychic vampires. Yea that’s right, vampires! While we still have no idea what the standard edition cover art will look like, something tells me it wont be nearly as badass as what Cemetery Dance is offering with their limited & signed editions.

Both versions of the signed editions have already sold out but you can still grab an unsigned deluxe edition as some are still available for pre-order. The plot behind the sequel is completely out of this world and totally unexpected which is what I love so much about King’s novels. He could have gone a much easier and typical route with the upcoming sequel to one of his most famous works, but instead he turned it on its head and is delivering something that no one would have ever expected.
