Horror Thriller ‘Crawl’ Finally Lands a Release Date

Some great news today as Paul China’s stunning directorial debut, Crawl, has finally landed a release date of February 26th on DVD and VOD. I’ve been following this film closely for about a year now so it’s nice to finally say that we can get our hands on the much talked about Australian thriller in just a few weeks! The film so far has been invited to over 30 festivals and is being compared to the likes of the Coen Brothers and Alfred Hitchcock — some pretty good company. If you happen to have missed the trailers that I’ve posted then give it a watch below and start getting excited because Crawl looks to be an unforgettably intense experience.

Set in an unknown rural town, a seedy bar-owner hires a mysterious hitman to settle a score. The gun-toting killer crosses paths with an innocent waitress sparking a cat and mouse struggle of survival. As tension builds, everyone is driven to desperate measures causing a chain of events that build to a blood-curdling climax.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. I only just heard about this film today! I’m surprised it’s slipped past me. It looks really good!

  2. Just watched it. It’s pretty low-budget, but it’s well done nonetheless. They focused more on the tension and suspense than the gore (although there was plenty) and you can tell the director is going to be really good in the future. Looking forward to what he can do with a bigger budget. 🙂
