‘Zombieland’ Series Starts Casting

By now it’s no secret that Zombieland is headed for the small screen all thanks to Amazon Studios. While we still wait for more official news on what Amazon’s plan is for the series, some casting news has started roll in according to Deadline. Tackling the role of Columbus — originally played by Jesse Eisenberg in the film — will be Tyler Ross, star of the indie film Milkshake. And Up-and-comer Izabela Vidovic will be filling the role of Little Rock, originally played by Abigail Breslin.

No word just yet on who will play Tallahassee and Wichita but with this latest news I would expect an announcement shortly. Zombies are all the rage these days, so it’s no surprise that Amazon wants to capitalize on the living dead. The series has a ton of potential as they plan to have each episode 30 minutes a piece which should keep things rolling at an entertaining and hopefully gory pace.

Below you can see the first two pieces of the puzzle, Ross and Vidovic.

    1. Totally agreed! There was never any chance of those guys returning which makes me wonder why they even decided to make the series with the same characters. Why not introduce new ones? Oh well, hopefully these 2 do a solid job! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Nobody will ever replace Stone, Harrelson, Eisenberg or Breslin, but I guess any Zombieland is better than no zombieland. They sure as hell better not screw this up though…

    1. No doubt man. We’ll see where it goes. There’s potential but hopefully they get a decent budget to show off some cool zombie kills like in the film!
