Empire got ahold of the latest British quad poster for the upcoming supernatural chiller Dark Skies and it’s a beauty. Written and directed by Scott Stewart, the film stars Keri Russell, Josh Hamilton, Dakota Goyo, Kadan Rockett and J.K. Simmons. Dark Skies is just around the corner as it will hit US theaters on February 22nd.
Dark Skies is a supernatural thriller that follows a young family living in the suburbs. As husband and wife Daniel and Lacey Barret witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family, their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels. When it becomes clear that the Barret family is being targeted by and unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to solve the mystery of what is after their family.
I really dig the new poster. It’s got a very ominous and creepy vibe to it and reminds us to never f*ck with birds. Hitchcock was really on to something! Check it out below.

I wish this movie intrigued me more… This posted doesn’t help….
I agree. I saw this at the beginning of Django Unchained and was quite unimpressed.
This one reminds me of “Take shelter”. The poster is not exciting enough and has nothing to do with a horror film, the trailer is much more interesting. They should avoid using this.
I like the poster, but after watching the trailer…well, it’s a good idea (until the aliens show up) it just doesn’t look like it is going to be executed very well. Kind of reminds me of The Forgotten (I was laughing too hard to make it through even the first half hour of the movie). I do like the poster though.
I dig the poster as well. As for the movie itself, it’ll probably be forgettable but you never know!
