Watch the New Red Band Trailer for Xan Cassavetes’ Vampire Flick ‘Kiss of the Damned’

Xan Cassavetes’ vampire tale Kiss of the Damned is anticipating its SXSW premiere which will be part of the midnight line-up at the festival this coming March. Now, we’ve got our hands on the red band trailer for the flick and boy is it a doozy. We get a peak at all the good stuff — sexy women and blood. The trailer is very interesting and shows off some pretty kick-ass images and the old-school 70’s text that pops up during the trailer is a very cool touch. This one has definitely grabbed my attention as it looks to set itself far apart from a lot of the vampire flicks we’ve seen lately, but I’ll let you guys be the judge.

Beautiful vampire Djuna tries to resist the advances of human screenwriter Paolo, but eventually gives in to their passion. When her sister Mimi comes to visit, Djuna’s love story is threatened, and the whole vampire community becomes endangered…

Joséphine de la Baume, Milo Ventimiglia, Roxane Mesquida, Anna Mouglalis, Michael Rapaport, Riley Keough and Ching Valdes-Aran star. If you’re not lucky enough to make it to SXSW this year, you can expect to see the film on VOD March 28th and in theaters May 3rd.

Watch the red band trailer and leave your thoughts!

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. Milo sounds exactly like Campbell Scott.. it’s creepy, but awesome. Also, the film has my attention, for sure, but I hope it doesn’t take itself too seriously, which looks like could easily happen given the trailer. You mention the 70s style text.. let’s hope it gets wild and crazy. The film also made me wonder why we haven’t gotten a neo-exploitation vampire flick yet. I need to make it.

    1. It’s hard not to be intrigued by this trailer. It sort of came out of nowhere really. It’s got a cool style and looks like it will get pretty brutal. I am so there! Also, definitely make that movie. I’d be the first in line!
