I’m surprised it took this long for someone with an artistic ability to come up with a retro style poster for the Fede Alvarez directed remake of Evil Dead, but regardless, it’s here and it looks absolutely amazing thanks to artist Midnight Marauder. It’s probably my favorite poster so far and reminds me of the old horror flicks from Italian cinema.

In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
