Eerie first trailer for In Fear, one of horror’s must see films of the year

I talked a little bit about In Fear not too long ago when it premiered at Sundance this year and it’s definitely one that you guys should be keeping an eye on. I love the isolation side of horror, especially when it involves a car — there’s just something about that premise that always gets under my skin. The trailer has just released and it really doesn’t dissapoint  — it immediately gives off that unsettling sense of eeriness that you would expect from a film like this.

A young couple fights to survive one night-turned-nightmare. Driving to a music festival, Tom and Lucy have plans to stay at a countryside hotel. But with hotel signs leading them in circles and darkness falling, they soon become lost in a maze of country roads…and the target of an unknown tormentor.

In Fear is currently scheduled for a Fall release in the UK. No word yet on a US date, but I’ll definitely be on the look-out for one as this is surely one of the “must-see” horror films of the year.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. Looks pretty creepy, high quality too. Reminds me of Wind Chill or Seventh Moon, lots psychological moments alone in a car. Can’t go wrong with that.

    1. You’re exactly right, it definitely has the ‘Wind Chill’ vibe. Cars are a perfect place for horror films, it’s surprising you don’t see more movies like this one.
