Horror fueled red band trailer for V/H/S/2 is a must see

Magnet has finally revealed its red band trailer for V/H/S/2 and it’s pure horror gold. Early buzz surrounding the sequel has been very positive so far, saying that it’s a much better flick all around. We’ll have to wait until its June 6th VOD release to truly find out just how good this sequel really is but if the trailer is any indication it looks like one hell of a bloody good ride. I’m officially sold!

From the demented minds that brought you last year’s V/H/S comes V/H/S/2, an all-new anthology of dread, madness, and gore. This follow-up ventures even further down the demented path blazed by its predecessor, discovering new and terrifying territory in the genre. This is modern horror at its most inventive, shrewdly subverting our expectations about viral videos in ways that are just as satisfying as they are sadistic. The result is the rarest of all tapes—a second generation with no loss of quality.

Simon Barrett, Adam Wingard, Edúardo Sanchez, Gregg Hale, Timo Tjahjanto, Gareth Huw Evans and Jason Eisener all direct.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. I personally liked a majority of the first film a good deal, not to say it was perfectly well-rounded in its entirety. This just looks incredible, providing the whole trailers-show-too-much-of-a-good-thing aspect doesn’t come into play.

    1. Yea you’re right about that. It’s a great trailer and I think the chaotic nature of it helps to not spoil too much because it’s hard to really keep up with whats going on because of all the insanity.

    1. Pretty much my exact response. Looks cool as hell man! The part where they all hold guns to their heads was creepy as hell.

      1. Very creepy, or even the alien abduction. My favorite part is when it says from the makers of Hobo with a Shotgun! This is my new most anticipated right beside Only God Forgives.

  2. woooooah! Really liked the first one, bit scratchy in parts but some of the stories were really really good. Hopefully this will be consistently better but I fear the trailer has given most of it’s scares away. Will still watch it.

    1. Yea that’s always the fear with trailers such as this one. It’s almost too good, makes you wonder what they gave away!

    1. Well the first film’s response was very mixed. Generally most people like at least 1 of the 3 stories told in it. Definitely worth giving it a go tho!
