New Under the Dome poster tugs at the heart strings

June 24th is almost here and that means CBS’ upcoming adaptation of Stephen Kings Under the Dome is almost upon us, and with that we’ve got a new one-sheet featuring a boy separated from his dog by just a single depressing inch. I love this poster. It captures the idea of being trapped under this invisible dome and how you can be so close to the outside world while being so far away. It’s simple and very effective. Well done!

Under the Dome is the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from, and if and when it will go away.

The series will get 13 episodes and premieres on June 24th on CBS. Under the Dome stars Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Dean Norris, Natalie Martinez, Britt Robertson, Alexander Koch, Colin Ford, Nicholas Strong, Jolene Purdy, Ned Bellamy, Aisha Hinds.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.
