James Wan’s Insidious Chapter 2 gets a bone chilling first trailer

Horror fans are lucky to be getting not one but two James Wan horror films this year as we’ve got the terrifying true story of The Conjuring as well as the sequel to the haunted house shocker Insidious. Today the first trailer for Insidious Chapter 2 has arrived and it looks like vintage Wan with some truly creepy imagery and a downright chilling score. I liked a lot of what the first film had to offer but it just lost me in the final act, but I’m still really looking forward to seeing what Wan does as he revisits this terrifying world as he calls this one his “last horror film” – at least for a while anyway.

The terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

Directed by James Wan and written by Leigh Whannell, The film stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins. It opens on Friday, September 13th.

      1. Yeah, yeah, now it’s working! I loved the part where Rose Byrne was standing in the hall and the toy car drove up to her and then that ghost appeared on the couch; that was f’n creepy! Can’t wait for Conjuring and then this. 🙂

    1. Same here! I’m giving the edge to The Conjuring simply because the true story aspect behind it. Both should amazing though!
