A new poster for Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla has just been revealed thanks to the film’s official Twitter account and it’s an awesome design that teases just enough of the monster to keep you wanting more. It’s a fantastic look at the tail end of the big bastard with a few helicopters thrown in to show off just how big the title monster really is — spoiler, he’s f*cking huge!
To the right you’ll see the first ever look at Godzilla’s face thanks to Deadline as we see those terrifyingly yellow eyes staring back at us. It looks like they’ve gone with a more traditional look which is surprisingly awesome — It’s not much but it’s certainly better than nothing!
Edwards directs from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. The film is set to crash into theaters on May 16, 2014 with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Richard T. Jones, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, David Strathairn, Patrick Sabongui, Yuki Morita, Brian Markinson, Juliette Binoche, Akira Takarada, Victor Rasuk, C.J. Adams, and Ken Watanabe all starring.
OOHHHH SNAAAPPP
Hahah, yes!
GOD!! What a ZILLA!!! (sorry)
Nice!
The face looks cool but the CGI tail in the clouds I think not!
Nice, I want that for my basement. I think the original Godzilla was the first horror I ever saw.
It was the first movie I ever saw in theatre, but I didn’t think it was a horror! I thought it was terrible that they killed the big ass lizard!
Really? That’s awesome! My first horror movie was Night of the Living Dead!
Another good one.
Hmmmm, still in two about this…
Hey he might actually look like Godzilla! What a concept!
Lol yea, no doubt!
