By now I’m sure you all know just how excited I am to see Ti West and Eli Roth’s The Sacrament. The reason for the excitement is simply because we’ll be seeing Roth, who is finally starting to dig his claws back into the horror genre, team up with one of horror’s most promising up and coming directors with Ti West. When the project was first announced it was kept very quiet and little details were known. Now that the film is gearing up for its World Premiere at TIFF, we are finally starting to see just what the duo has in store. While we wait for a trailer, here’s a fantastic poster for the film that EW got their hands on earlier today.

The Sacrament follows two Vice media correspondents as they set out to document their friend’s search to find his missing sister. They travel outside of the United States to an undisclosed location where they are welcomed into the world of “Eden Parish,” a self-sustained rural utopia comprised of nearly 200 members. At the centre of this small, religious, socialist community is a mysterious leader known only as “Father.” As their friend reunites with his sister, it becomes apparent to the newcomers that this paradise may not be as it seems. What started as just another documentary shoot soon becomes a race to escape with their lives.

The Sacrament stars genre favorite AJ Bowen, Joe Swanberg, Kentucker Audley, Amy Seimetz and Gene Jones. Take a peak at the poster below!

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.
