What’s her dark secret? Resolution directors Spring up a new horror flick

Directing tandem Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the team behind the fantastic psychological indie flick Resolution, are back with an intriguing little film called Spring which sees Evil Dead‘s Lou Taylor Pucci and Nadia Hilker star. I’m glad to see that Benson and Moorhead have followed up the success of Resolution with another feature film in the horror genre because their creativity and eye for horror is exactly what this genre needs.

While plot details are slim, it’s all we really need to know:

Spring follows young man in a personal tailspin as he flees California to the Italian coast, where he meets a woman carrying a dark secret.

Shooting is expected to finish up in LA this coming January so hopefully we’ll be seeing more from this one very soon. If you haven’t seen Resolution yet I highly suggest you check it out. It’s available on Netflix and other VOD platforms. Do it too it!

Below are the first set of stills from the flick featuring both Lou Taylor Pucci and Nadia Hilker as well as the artwork via Twitch.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. Benson and Moorhead are a couple of fun guys to interview, also. I’m very happy to learn that they are continuing to make films within the horror genre. I will definitely have Spring on my movie radar.
