Heil five this Dead Snow 2 poster!

With Tommy Wirkola’s Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead heading into its World premiere at Sundance in January, the film’s very first poster has arrived and it’s pretty awesome. Not sure that I’d want to “heil five” this guy because there’s a good chance you wont be getting your hand back. This marks the sequel to his ridiculous indie horror flick Dead Snow in which a ski vacation turns horrific for a group of medical students, as they find themselves confronted by an unimaginable menace: Nazi zombies. It’s a cheesy blast and features plenty of the red stuff to keep horror fans smiling until the final frame.

Sequels are a tough one because they tend to fall just short of their original counterpart. That being said, Wirkola has been really passionate about this film, and considering he followed up his first major success in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters with another ridiculous indie zombie flick says a lot about him. Time will tell on this one, but for now it looks to be headed down the right path and should be a lot of fun.

The sole survivor of a Nazi zombie attack as he battles an even larger army of zombies with the help of a professional gang of American zombie killers known as the Zombie Squad.

Vegar Hoel, Stig Frode Henriksen, Martin Starr, Ørjan Gamst, Ingrid Haas and Jocelyn DeBoer all star. Dig on the poster below!

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

      1. Oh yeah! I still wish you could figure out the movie I was talking about with the figure in the creepy owl mask. It was an upcoming movie and I know it was you because you feature all the upcoming movies and I remember your header. This is really going to bug me. Merry Christmas!!
