Bloody paw prints are left behind in the first poster for The Voices, starring Ryan Reynolds

Back in December we got our very first look at the Ryan Reynolds-starring genre bender The Voices, from director Marjane Satrapi. Well, now that the Sundance Film Festival is in full swing, we are starting to see more and more cool promotional material for a lot of the horror flicks that are having their premiere at the festival.

On tap right now is the first festival poster for The Voices and it’s a simple, badass piece of art that’s intriguing as hell. What I love about the design is that if you don’t know anything about the film then it doesn’t really tell you a whole lot, but it’s no doubt going to grab your attention. That being said, if you know what this film is about then the poster speaks a thousand words. It’s pretty cool, I think you guys will dig it!

The Voices centers around Jerry Hickfang, a lovable but disturbed factory worker who yearns for attention from a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn, Jerry’s evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog lead him down a fantastical path where he ultimately finds salvation.

Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton, Anna Kendrick and Jacki Weaver all star.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.
