On the heels of its latest trailer (watch it here), Zack Parkers psychological indie horror Proxy has just unveiled a new poster and it’s quite gorgeous if you ask me. I’m sure that it’s no coincidence, but the latest poster echoes that of the poster art for Roman Polanski’s 1968 classic Rosemary’s Baby with the classic shot of Mia Farrow’s Rosemary looking up to the heavens. Proxy‘s poster is essentially the same thing but with a minor twist. Regardless, it’s cool as hell and continues the trend of indie horror movies getting the best movie posters out there. Dig it!
Look for Proxy on VOD this April 18th.
A very pregnant Esther Woodhouse (Rasmussen) is walking home after her latest OB appointment, when she is brutally attacked and disfigured by a hooded assailant. When Esther seeks consolation in a support group, she finds friendship and empathy in Melanie (Havins), another mother scarred with tragedy. Esther soon begins to believe that the horrific event might be a bittersweet act of fate. However, friendship and empathy can be very dangerous things when accepted by the wrong people.
Directed by Zack Parker, Proxy stars Alexia Rasmussen, Alexa Havins, Kristina Klebe, and Joe Swanberg.
Awesomely old school poster!
Yea, these indie posters have been awesome lately. Really dig this one!
