Leave your lights on, folks!
Back in January we saw the very first trailer for Jennifer Kent’s The Babadook, which seemingly came out of nowhere and scared the crap out of everyone just before its screening at the Sundance Film Festival. Now, that little monster that lives inside a child’s storybook is back to haunt us once again as the film prepares for its UK premiere at Film4 FrightFest on August 23rd.
Whoever is cutting these trailers are cinematic mad men because although they show you nothing, it still manages to get under your skin by the use of sounds that are creepy enough to drift into your nightmares. Couple that with some chilling imagery and a few quick edits and you have horror trailer gold. The trailer is below… good luck.
Look for The Babadook on November 28th.
