More gorgeous art from The Editor!
Being described as a tribute to the gory giallo thrillers of Mario Bava and Dario Argento, The Editor comes to us from Adam Brooks and Matthew Kennedy as it continues to impress and it’s not even out yet. Done in a retro style, the new poster puts an unfortunate victim’s screams of terror front and center with a couple of film reels for eyes. It’s a thing of awesome beauty and probably my favorite poster for the film yet, and there’s some good ones out there.
The film premiered at TIFF not too long ago and has since been met with nothing but high praise, so be sure to leave this one on your radar. While there’s still no word on a release, the film is currently set up at AFM so hopefully we’ll catch wind of an exact date sometime soon. The Editor follows a one-time (and now one-handed) master film editor toiling in the cinematic sweatshops of 1970s Italy, who becomes the prime suspect in a series of brutal murders.
Matthew Kennedy, Adam Brooks, Udo Kier and Nurse 3D‘s Paz de la Huerta all star.
That poster is amazing! The teaser clip didn’t do much for me. Then again, I guess it’s just a teaser clip. Horror-comedies are always fun, though. Hopefully I’ll catch wind of it over here sometime relatively soon
I think this is the third poster for the film so far and they are all amazing. Indie films always seem to have the best posters these days, Hollywood needs to take note!
Seeing this in a couple of weeks! Can’t fricken wait, I love all ‘The Editor’ posters!
Yeah, all the posters have been great. This is definitely my favorite, though!
