Jérémy Pailler’s stunning art illustrates the origins of classic horror: Part I

The wonderful thing about good (even some bad) art is that sometimes a single imagine can tell an entire story, and French artist Jérémy Pailler has done just that with his new art gallery, Horror Genesis Collection. It’s a beautiful collection that depicts the very origins of some of horror’s most iconic monsters from Pinhead and Cujo to Freddy and more. Pailler’s art is as unique as it is haunting, as stunning as it is terrifying, and manages to capture the very heart and tone of the film in which the monster was born.

When it comes to art as gorgeous as Pailler’s horror collection, sometimes you just have to let the art do all the talking, which is what I’m going to do. You’ll find his Horror Genesis Collection below, making up of 10 brilliantly crafted pieces of art that tell the beginning story of some of horror’s most feared monsters. If you can’t figure out what movie some of these are from (that’s part of the fun) just ask in the comments! Enjoy.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. Wow. These are so, so sexy. I am not sure what movie it is, but I’ll venture a guess that it’s called ‘Leprechauns’ (or something similar), but that one is my favorite. Although all of these are stunning works. Thanks for sharing this
