The genre-friendly Slamdance Film Festival will kick off later this month in Park City, and with it comes some of the best indie horror gems the new year has to offer. One such film is Dan Berk and Robert Olsen’s Body, an isolated thriller about a three girls alone in a seemingly empty mansion. What could possibly go wrong?
While it’s only a teaser, it does a fantastic job pulling you in with striking images of a night filled with terror, all set to the wonderfully creepy tune of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Hopefully the word out of its premiere reflects how good this teaser is because this could be just the thing the Christmas season needs… if you’re a horror fan, that is.
Body stars Lauren Molina, Helen Rogers, Alexandra Turshen and Larry Fessenden. The film will have its world premiere this January at Slamdance.
Looks like sinister stuff, that music on the trailer gives me chills.
That was definitely my favorite part of the teaser. Simple and freaky as shit. Glad you dug it!
I always dig anything horror related, and your choices of movies to highlight are always great.
I appreciate that, man! I try to keep the focus on stuff that, at the very least, looks cool.
You had my my curiosity. Now you have my attention.
