While we’re still here waiting patiently for the release of Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno, his latest thriller Knock Knock has already been picked up by Lionsgate, who hopes to release the film sometime later this year—what are the chances we see Knock Knock before The Green Inferno? We now have the international trailer for his latest and it’s… something. The unlikely tandem of Roth and Keanu Reeves looks exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s obvious Reeves is having a blast here (I don’t blame him) and Roth appears to be taking a step out of his comfort zone; a solid combination, that’s for sure.
While Roth is mostly known for his taste in blood-splattered visuals and gory tales, he turns his attention towards the home invasion variety with Knock Knock, allowing tension and psychological warfare do all the work. Its premiere out of Sundance was met with mixed reviews, but from what we sere here it looks like a nasty bit of fun!
Evan Webber is living the dream. Just look at his beautiful, successful wife, his two wonderful kids, and his truly stunning house—which he designed himself. Of course he did. Things are going so well, Evan doesn’t even mind spending Father’s Day alone while the rest of his family heads out for a beach weekend. And then there’s a knock on the door. The two young women standing on Evan’s doorstep are where Evan’s dream takes a nightmarish turn.
The film stars Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo, Ana De Armas, Aaron Burns, Ignacia Allamand, and Colleen Camp.

Oh yeah
I am so all over this for all sorts of reasons but the biggest is likely Keanu Reeves because the man is awesome!
This looks awesome! I need to see it 🙂
Let’s hope it doesn’t get delayed, per every Eli Roth movie!
Still revved up about “Green Inferno”, huh? Me, too. Any updates??
Nothing real concrete other than that they’re hoping for a release this year, possibly the summer.
I love Keanu Reeves. That is all.
He’s awesome!
He really is! And apparently he’s also the nicest guy in Hollywood.
That’s what I’ve heard. He’s just a really stand up dude, which is awesome. Need more people like him.
I love Eli Roth, but I kind of hate that the first thought that came to my mind was “Can you imagine what this film would be like if the roles were reversed and it was two dudes doing this to a cheating wife?” Either way, Roth knows horror so this will be interesting no matter what.
But if it comes out before The Green Inferno I’ll cry. lol
It’ll be very interesting to see how Roth takes this one on. It looks very psychological. Also, I’ll cry as well if we see this before The Green Inferno. That’s just a painful thought.
I don’t think I can take this one. I love John Wick too much to see him either murdered as an innocent man or as a man with a dark secret. I’m just ready for John Wick 2! 🙂
Haha. John Wick is so good, man. Can’t wait for the sequel!
I survived a home invasion, I fought like hell, I can relate to some of the scenes but I don’t feel sorry for him after screwing the psychos. Other than that I will see this but not alone for obvious reasons.
And this is why you don’t fool around (or let strangers into your house)! Get it together man!
Lol, right!? Two gorgeous girls showing up in the middle of the night soaked head to toe is definitely too good to be true, Keanu. Shame.
