Always bring protection, it’s a Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse teaser!

Man, we’ve been talking about this movie for years, back when it was under the title Boy Scouts vs. Zombies in 2012. With Comic-Con in full swing, however, we not only got an update on the film—it will now be known as Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse—but we got our hands on the film’s first ever teaser, proving that yes, this movie is actually happening.

Directed by Christopher Landon, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse has been a long time coming, so it’s nice to finally see some goods from the film. In this particular clip, a few scouts have a run-in with the undead, except these flesh eaters are cats, lots of ’em. It’s a fun first peek at Landon’s film and I can’t wait to see more. It will open in theaters October 30th, and as part of a new distribution deal, will hit VOD shortly after.

Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.

It stars Tye Sheridan, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Logan Miller, Joey Morgan, Sarah Dumont, Halston Sage, Cloris Leachman, and David Koechner.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. I burst out laughing at the woman batting a line drive with the cat and the frying pan… so much so that I watched it twice.

This teaser looks like a little too much fun. What a brilliant title and premise. Never in a million years would I have thought of it.

    1. Totally agree. It’s such a fantastic concept that’s perfect for the horror-comedy sub genre. There’s a few other clips out there that are even funnier than this one, too!
