The Ash vs. Evil Dead trailer will swallow your soul; premieres on Halloween!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here, the first trailer for Sam Raimi’s Ash vs. Evil Dead has been delivered in all its bloody glory! With over 20 years passing since Ash went back in time to save the world in Army of Darkness, this trailer is a special treat to horror fans, taking a peek at the aging lothario in action once again. Seeing this trailer is a surreal moment, offering further proof that it’s really happening… and how glorious it is. Hail to the King, baby!

The first season of the show will feature 10 half-hour episodes and will premiere on Starz this October 31st, on Halloween.

Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead.  When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal.  Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

The cast is led by Bruce Campbell in the role of Ash Williams, Lucy Lawless as Ruby a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks, Jill Marie Jones as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner, Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. I am waiting for it badly, the series looks promising. I am sure that it will be more entertaining then we all are expecting. I have watched the trailer above, Bruce’s character is looking much interesting then before.
