Since wrapping production on his latest shocker 31, Rob Zombie hasn’t been shy about promoting his Halloween-set horror piece, and today is no different with our first look at Lew Temple as Psycho-Head. Here are some words on the character from the man himself, Rob Zombie: “Psycho-Head is a real mean piece of shit best described in his own words… ‘count yourself lucky you got fucked by the best!'” I’m both excited and terrified to see this guy come to life on screen, especially after seeing this new still. Yes, that’s a chainsaw (without a chain) and some poor soul tied down in front of him. Ouch!
With its nutty blend of terrifying carnival clowns and that nasty Rob Zombie touch, 31 looks like it’s going to be one of his best films yet. There’s still no release dat just yet, so hang in there.
31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.
Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, Richard Brake and more star in the film, which was recently picked up by Alchemy for distribution here in the States.

Great pictures … Now I’m just waiting for a trailer 🙂
Haha, I know man. The trailer is going to be crazy!
Haha that quote from the man himself is perfect. I’m pretty interested in this, looks brutal (as it should).
All we really need right now is a trailer because all these stills have been fantastic. Hopefully it holds up!
Looks….. creepy… as it should…. there’s always just something slightly amiss about Zombie’s movies….
Yeah, his films are so hit or miss for me, hoping he nails it with this one, though.
I hope so! Lords of Salem was pretty awesome IMO until the closing scene…
Lords of Salem definitely had its moment. It’s without a doubt Zombie’s best looking film yet. He really just needs to make a complete, solid film from beginning to end.
I agree with that! All of his movies should be a lot better than they are.
Definitely. I think he’ll eventually put all the right pieces together, hopefully starting with this one!
Finger crossed! I’ll always give his films a whirl but like Eric said they just miss the mark a little usually…hopefully not with this one 🙂
Continuing proof that Malcolm McDowell looks better than most women in make-up
Haha! That is great.
I like Zombie’s movies for the most part…I just wish Sheri would take some acting classes, though she is better than some other actresses/actors in the same genre.
Agreed. That or just limit her dialog. Who knows, maybe she’ll surprise us this time around!
