Christopher Landon’s Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse has just dropped its totally NSFW red-band trailer for the undead comedy and it’s one nasty slice of 2-minute gold. In it, we see a handful of kids take on the responsibility of saving mankind from a swarm of cannibal corpses. The trailer is utterly fantastic, featuring exploding heads, zombie strippers and evil cats. Need I say more?
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse hits theaters on October 30th before rolling out to VOD soon after.
Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.
It stars Tye Sheridan, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Logan Miller, Joey Morgan, Sarah Dumont, Halston Sage, Cloris Leachman, and David Koechner.

This looks great … I’m totally sold 🙂
It looks like a total blast! Who would have thought!?
True … I wasn’t even going to watch the trailer to be honest … Let’s just hope the film delivers 🙂
Yeah it seemed like a pretty easy movie to write off at first, but damn does that look great.
So much YES here! That last head explosion was sweet. This is going on the list.
P.S. Did you see Banksy’s Dismaland? Seems like something you’d be interested in. I’m trying to figure out how to get to England, like NOW, to go. 😉
I have a hard time not getting excited about a movie with exploding heads, it’s just the way that I’m wired!
PS: Yes, I saw that and would love to see it first hand.
So true. My friend sent me the trailer to this bright & early this morning, coincidentally, and termed it “American Pie: Zombie Edition”, haha.
P.S. I’ve watched all the Vines and stuff and am in <3!
Oh my. This is a must-see. And did I catch a really brief glimpse at a possible homage to the chest defibrillation scene from The Thing there?
It looks like pure mayhem with some fantastic gore, I really can’t wait. And yes, that was a lovely nod to Carpenter. Good catch!
