I love that the first official picture for Craig Anderson’s Red Christmas is a dude being decapitated by a giant, razor sharp bear trap—well played, sir! Also, what a particularly shitty situation to find yourself in. Anyway, while this dude is enjoying a proper horror movie death, the rest of us get to have our first look at Anderson’s Christmas-set nightmare that sees a family tormented by a mad man—you know, the usual holiday stuff. The teaser is just that—a tease—and a fantastic one at that, giving essentially nothing away and allowing its powerful images of a family in terror do all the talking. Also, how great is it that Dee Wallace is in Christmas death-by-bear-trap horror movie?
