The new trailer for Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant further confirms that it, unlike Prometheus, is going to be a straight-up shit-your-pants fest. It also gives us our first good look at the new Xenomorph in all of its vicious, man-eating glory. There’s not much else to say, really. This one speaks for itself.
Alien: Covenant hits theaters on May 19th.
The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
It stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby.
Yep, I’m gonna have nightmares.
Yes!
I’d much rather see the Neill Blompkamp movie with Weaver get made though…I’m not sure what’s currently going on with that one
REGARDLESS, I will continue to have high hopes for this one just like I did for Prometheus…which…sadly…was disappointing…
I think Blomkamp’s Alien movie got put on the back burner because of this one, so we’ll see what happens with it (as of right now it doesn’t look promising, though). I, too, have high hopes and from what I’ve heard out of its test screenings is that this movie most certainly isn’t Prometheus, so you’re good there 🙂
