Cheap Thrills: The Wolf of Snow Hollow

Horror has never been more alive than it is right now and a lot of that stems from the understated indie gems that come out each and every month. They’re cheap, they’re thrilling, and they’re often some of the best films the genre has to offer. Cheap Thrills aims at highlighting the upcoming indie horror films (and some other interesting movies that come our way) that should be on your radar.

I’m not sure how it’s even possible that a Jim Cummings-directed horror movie about a small town werewolf snuck up on all of us, but it did, and it looks glorious. And of course it looks exactly how you would think (and hope) a Jim Cummings-directed werewolf movie would look, too. There’s some strong Fargo (the TV series) vibes going on here and I love every single bit of it. See for yourselves.

Terror grips a small mountain town as bodies are discovered after each full moon. Losing sleep, raising a teenage daughter, and caring for his ailing father, officer Marshall struggles to remind himself there’s no such thing as werewolves.

The Wolf of Snow Hollow is out on VOD this October 9th So while you wait, feast on more Cheap Thrills here.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.
