The show must go on in new poster for Rob Zombie’s 31

Rob Zombie’s films may be hit or miss (I still think that his take on Halloween gets unfairly shit on considering some of the other entries that came out of that franchise), but one thing that I’ve always appreciated about his work is that he never strays away from what makes him such a unique filmmaker—the dude always makes a Rob Zombie movie, and I admire that. And that’s why his next movie, 31, might just be his most Rob Zombie movie yet, featuring clowns and torture on a Halloween night—this is exactly the kind of movie you want Zombie making, and so far it looks absolutely insane. The film just dropped an all-new poster, and knowing what this one is ultimately about, the tagline is all sorts of sick and twisted fun. The show must go on!

31 hits VOD on September 16th with a limited theatrical release to follow on October 21st.

31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.

Malcolm McDowell, Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, Richard Brake and more star.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. Ironically, a girl was just sentenced for killing her parents today for living through an upbringing that was quite like Michael’s character’s in Zombie’s Halloween. It was just a different kind of story than what was expected from Halloween. I agree to me it was better than some of the other Halloween series for sure! And I liked Zombie’s Halloween II quite a bit too!

    1. Yeah, I saw that story going around on Twitter the other day. Crazy story! I need to revisit Zombie’s H2, i’ve only seen it the one time and felt very on the fence about it.

  2. Agreed! Zombie’s Halloween take gets way too much flak. As for his movies? I always admire and respect them, he does his thing, and that’s awesome. Plus they are always great to look at, whether you like the content or not. Looking forward to seeing what he does this time. That poster is cool!
