First Look at The New Leatherface in ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’
Preparing for it’s January 4, 2013 release Lionsgate has released the very first image of the one and only Leatherface. It’s more of a teaser than anything because all we see is his back as he walks into a meat warehouse with his trusty chainsaw in hand.
“‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’continues the legendary story of the homicidal Sawyer family, picking up where Tobe Hooper’s 1974 horror classic left off in Newt, Texas, where for decades people went missing without a trace. The townspeople long suspected the Sawyer family, owners of a local barbeque pit, were somehow responsible. Their suspicions were finally confirmed one hot summer day when a young woman escaped the Sawyer house following the brutal murders of her four friends. Word around the small town quickly spread, and a vigilante mob of enraged locals surrounded the Sawyer stronghold, burning it to the ground and killing every last member of the family – or so they thought.
Decades later and hundreds of miles away from the original massacre, a young woman named Heather learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from a grandmother she never knew she had. After embarking on a road trip with friends to uncover her roots, she finds she is the sole owner of a lavish, isolated Victorian mansion. But her newfound wealth comes at a price as she stumbles upon a horror that awaits her in the mansion’s dank cellars…“

More Details Emerge for ‘Elysium’
From the moment Neill Blomkamp’s sci-fi thriller was announced the film has been a huge mystery. The District 9 director managed to snag an amazing cast with Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster, Matt Damon, Wagner Moura, William Fichtner, Alice Braga and Diego Luna. The one and only picture we have been given so far is the awesome still of Damon holding the Chemrail gun. Damon recently spoke with Empire in an interview saying,“Neill and the guys at Weta came up with some really gnarly weapons that don’t exist in our world,” he explained. “This one looks like some horrible weapon someone’s going to invent one day
Set in the year 2159, where the very wealthy lives on a man-made space station while the rest of population reside on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds. “My character is dying,” says Damon. “He wants to get there because they have health care.“
Wicked Poster for ‘The Lords of Salem’
It’s almost becoming a tradition to post something new of Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem in The Missing Reel every week. And this week we get yet another poster which abandons the all blue style for a red one. By far the strangest one yet but very cool nonetheless.
In the film, “Heidi, a radio station DJ, receives a wooden box containing a record. Heidi listens and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of Salem’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad or are the Lords of Salem returning for revenge on modern day Salem?”
