The Conjuring’s Annabelle is back with a chilling trailer!

On October 3rd that creepy doll from The Conjuring will leave her very own terrifying mark in theaters, and today we’ve been lucky enough to get a teaser trailer that explains just how Annabelle became possessed. It’s cool to see the backstory of the iconic doll and I like how they teased the film in the same fashion that The Conjuring did, almost like a short film. I was definitely on the fence with Annabelle once it was announced because it just came off like a rushed idea in order to cash in on the huge success of James Wan’s The Conjuring. Based on this teaser, however, it looks like they could have quite the hit on their hands. Time will tell!

Not surprisingly, Annabelle looks a hell of a lot like The Conjuring because the director, John Leonetti, actually worked as the director of photography on The Conjuring. And of course the mastermind behind it all, James Wan, is back to produce this chiller.

The Annabelle doll was seen at the start of The Conjuring as a possessed item terrorizing a group of 20-somethings.  Her reign of terror ended when Ed and Lorraine Warren obtained the doll and added them to their collection of supernatural items.

Annabelle Wallis, Alfre Woodard and Ward Horton all star. Take a look at the trailer below!

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.

  1. Hi Ryan , just saw the trailer and looks good. I never was afraid of dolls, but this creepy . The only dolls I have belonged to my mom. She was a big Miss Piggy fan. They don’t bother me at all. Can you imagine Miss Piggy crazed killer. Lmao

  2. I Have To Find The Real Back Story And Not The Movie Version. Just How DO Objects Get Possessed? That’d Be A Fun Read On A Rainy Night….

    1. Yeah, they tried to do what The Conjuring did with its first teaser by playing more like a short film than an actual trailer. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a full trailer soon that will give us a better look at the rest of the film.
