Director Adam Egypt Mortimer saw his feature film debut World Premiere at this year’s Stanley Film Festival, and now that it’s gearing up for another screening at July’s Fantasia Fest, we have an all-new poster for the film that teases its female monster, Moira.
This wonderful poster was conjured up by the mad mind of Branson Schaefer—who you might remember from this amazing piece—delivering a supremely creepy and ominous new look at Mortimer’s slasher. Image Entertainment picked up Some Kind of Hate for a fall release, but an exact date has yet to be released, so keep an eye here for that as well as a new trailer soon!
When a troubled teen is subjected to severe bullying, he accidentally conjures Moira Karp. Once a teenage girl pushed to suicide, Moira is now an unstoppable force on a mission of gruesome retribution. But when she goes too far, he must prevent her from spiraling out of control in this passionate and vividly violent revision of the slasher horror genre.
It stars Ronen Rubinstein, Grace Phipps, Sierra McCormick, Noah Segan, and Michael Polish.
