Back in October we learned that the mastermind behind one of the biggest horror movies of all time, James Wan’s The Conjuring, would be stepping back behind the camera for the sequel, which will see the return of both Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as the ghost hunting tandem Ed and Lorraine Warren. Shortly after that and a little bit of digging around, we learned that The Conjuring 2 would be centered around England’s famous Enfield Poltergeist, a true story about a haunting that took place in ’70s (get more on that story here).
With less than a year away from its release, Patrick Wilson officially gets the hype started for The Conjuring 2 after posting a wonderful shot of him alongside Vera Farmiga standing just outside of the New England Paranormal Research Center. The two, of course, are gearing up to step back into the shoes of Ed and Lorraine Warren, this time heading to the London Borough of Enfield to tell another terrifying story from the Warren’s archives.
The Conjuring 2 will scare up theaters on June 10, 2016.

I liked the first one and the chemistry on the screen between those two is great. Can’t wait!
Yeah, I though the first one was great. It’s going to be fun to see them take on the Warrens once again, that’s for sure.
You know, THIS could be the franchise to pump out an installment every Halloween to replace Saw and Paranormal Activity; just dig around in those archives. I bet they could make a lot of intriguing movies.
*By the way, I watched your favorite movie of 2012 this morning “Smiley”. lol.
Yeah, I’d be down for more of these. I think they’re signed on for 3 films, so at the very least we’ll see another one.
*Why would you watch that movie on purpose?
I stumbled across a Shane Dawson video on Youtube and read that this Youtuber was in a movie, so I looked at his filmography and saw he was in “Smiley” and it was free on Amazon Prime, so I gave it a watch; it was unbelievably dumb. The writing and dialogue was cringeworthy. Not sure why this was your top film for 2012! lol.
Mistakes were made.
Was j/k. I remember it on your worst of 2012 list. lol.
