Shudder just won Halloween. The horror streaming service just announced its October line-up of shit-your-pants titles, kicking the Halloween season off with every. single. episode. of the George Romero-produced series Tales from the Darkside—it’s the only place you’ll find streaming all 83 episodes of the anthology, which is absurdly cool. But even better is the highly anticipated release of the French miniseries Beyond the Walls, Shudder’s first exclusive acquisition. It follows a woman who discovers a parallel world behind the wall of her recently inherited home and it looks like the kind of show that will peel the skin right off your bones—and that’s just two of the planned titles landing on Shudder this October (below is their entire line-up). They’re killing it.
If you’re not familiar with Shudder, it’s a streaming service dedicated to all of the things that go bump in the night, but it’s also so much more than that—it’s a collection of hundreds of horror films featuring some of the gnarliest shit the genre has to offer, impossible-to-find gems that will melt your eyeballs, and even some fantastic indie films like Nina Forever and the criminally underrated Murder Party. It doesn’t matter what kind of horror you’re into—you could even fancy some of that super weird shit like David Schmoeller’s Tourist Trap—because Shudder has it… they have it all.

Too bad we don’t get this in Oz … Halloween isn’t really a big thing here which kinda sucks …
Oh that’s a bummer, man. Halloween is so much fun, especially if you’re into horror (like we are!). Shudder is relatively new, so they’re just now starting to expand into other regions. I’m sure it’ll land over there soon enough!
Yeah I can imagine … I generally celebrate it with a few friends … but it isn’t huge like it is over there!
