One of the first great looking indie horror films of the year is coming from the mind of Caradog W. James, whose latest joins the ever-growing popularity of witches in Don’t Knock Twice. The first trailer is here just ahead of its release next month and it’s not surprising to see why James’ supernatural thriller has been generating some hype lately—the film looks genuinely creepy and the trailer is full of some gnarly imagery (those long fingers stretching out of the sink!) that promise yet another solid haunter from IFC Midnight.
Don’t Knock Twice is out in theaters and VOD on February 3rd.
Don’t Knock Twice follows a guilt-ridden mother who wants to reconnect with the daughter she was forced to place into care. To save her estranged daughter, she has to uncover the terrifying truth behind the urban legend of a vengeful, demonic witch.
It stars Lucy Boynton, Katee Sackhoff, and Nick Moran.
This looks fun. I really like Lucy Boynton, so I was going to watch this regardless :p Creepy trailer, too!
Yeah it looks pretty entertaining with some cool visuals. Haven’t seen Boynton in anything yet, so definitely looking forward to seeing her here.
She was in ‘Sing Street,’ one of the best films I saw last year. Good to see her tackling some horror though 🙂
This looks really well done. Have you seen it? If so, what are your thoughts?
