I never know exactly what I’m looking for when I feature art on The Missing Reel until I see it, and Ben Turner’s take on IT is no better example of that. This is a wild piece of art that hits all the right notes—it’s unsettling and playful, and although Pennywise doesn’t make an appearance, he’s all over this thing. The closer you look at what Turner has done here the more its layers are revealed. The eyes and hands (or lack thereof) take on a life of their own, and there’s a foreboding sadness to it because we all know the fate of little Georgie. This thing kills in more ways than one.
