So much of Ari Aster’s Hereditary relies on its terrifying imagery — much of the film’s scariest moments are in its stillness and its ability to create dread out of it — and perhaps the scariest image of them all comes in the film’s final moments (you know the one). That final, maddening ascent into the treehouse is an all-timer horror movie moment, and it’s perfectly captured here by artist Dani Hliva.
What’s so great about Hliva’s piece is that it’s undeniably creepy — even if you hadn’t seen Aster’s film (how dare you), it’s still an incredibly unnerving piece of art.

I haven’t seen this film, but even so, that artwork gives me a chill. The use of font seems very clever.
You gotta see it!
