With James Wan’s The Conjuring haunting its way into theaters next week, a new featurette has come online which introduces us to the real Lorraine Warren, who is played by Vera Farmiga in the film. It’s truly a fascinating featurette so if you’re even remotely interested in the paranormal then you’ll definitely want to give this one a watch! If you missed it, I recently wrote an article highlighting the true events that inspired the film – check it out here.
Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorised by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
The film stars Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Lili Taylor, MacKenzie Foy, Joey King and Ron Livingston. Look for it in theaters on July 19th!
Thanks for this. I just read EW’s feature on Lorraine Warren, which was rather fascinating. So I was glad to find this video in my reader this morning.
Glad to hear it! She’s a very interesting woman whether you believe her stories or not.
