You haven’t truly experience all that the horror genre has to offer if you haven’t seen a classic giallo film. The giallo genre has given horror fans some unforgettably gruesome films over the years with their stylish camerawork and jaw dropping gore. And now, directors Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani aim to give horror fans a throwback to the once powerful genre with their intriguing looking The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears. The teaser for the flick is below and while it only comes in at 27 seconds, it leaves one hell of an impression. As most teasers do, it doesn’t offer anything to hold on to as far as the story goes, but it’s just enough to make you want more. A true indie horror film inspired by the genre that gave us films like Suspiria and Dressed to kill is certainly worth keeping an eye on. Take a look!

A woman vanishes. Her husband inquires into the strange circumstances of her disappearance. Did she leave him? Is she dead? As he goes along searching, he plunges into a world of nightmare and violence…

The film will be playing next month at the Toronto International Film Festival and stars Klaus Tange, Jean-Michel Vovk, Sylvia Carmarda, Sam Louwyck and Anna D’Annunzio. Right now it is said that the film will be release later this year but no solid dates have been announced.

If you are ever attacked by a gorilla just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of your limbs being ripped off.
